The durability of PMU is individual and depends on many factors. The range is somewhere between 12-18 months. In general, a simple rule of thumb is the oilier the skin, the lower the longevity.

After this time, the procedure can be performed again or the pigmentation can be allowed to fade gradually.

The durability of machine techniques - Powderbrows, Combibrows, Hairstrokes is usually longer about 2-3 years.

Painfulness is completely individual and everyone's sensitivity threshold is set differently. Most of my customers don't experience pain, more like a gentle scratching or a sensation reminiscent of plucking their eyebrows. Some even relax. There is an option to use a good quality anesthetic when working.

The application is possible even during your period, but for your convenience I recommend undergoing permanent makeup application during the period after menstruation, due to increased sensitivity and instability of hormones. It is always better to apply a few days apart.

We work with PMU in the summer as well, but it depends on the lifestyle of the customer. With fresh PMU we dont recommande to sunbathe or soak it.

For any kind of permanent makeup, you need to reserve at least 2 to 3 hours. Because I want to provide quality service, I need enough time for each customer. It is a very precise job that is tattooed on the face, I prefer quality over quantity.

Is it possible to apply a new tattoo over an older permanent make-up?

Unfortunately, in most cases it is not possible. The permanent make-up would have to be very or completely faded, as the new tattoo creates a very natural effect after healing. In the case of older permanent make-up, the result might not be what you want.

Therefore, a consultation is required before any new tattoo when it comes to redoing, or the possibility of applying permanent makeup over an old tattoo. If your old tattoo is still visible, we recommend having it removed with a laser. Laser removal is performed in our salon.

Laser removal is always performed alone, not in conjunction with any other cosmetic procedure, and no local anesthesia is used. The removal itself is completed in a short time and is not very painful. You will feel a pinching or tingling sensation when the laser is used.

It is generally said that you need as many laser removals as the number of times you have already gotten tattooed. So it depends comprehensively on the depth, intensity, frequency and pigment of the old tattoo.
